Calvin Fabre is the founder and President of Envoc (pronounced: "invoke"), a Software Product Accelerator company in Baton Rouge and Hammond, most known for creating and launching LA Wallet, the first legal digital driver's license app in the United States. Envoc divested its ownership and operation of LA Wallet in December 2025. Calvin serves on the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) working group that develops the ISO/IEC 18013-5 and 18013-7 mobile driver's license standards. Calvin has been invited to Washington, D.C., to speak about technology and inform privacy legislation. Calvin speaks on privacy, digital identity, and non-disenfranchisement of underserved communities including non-smartphone holders and technology-avoidant groups.

Calvin Fabre is the founder and President of Envoc (pronounced "invoke"), a Louisiana software company, and the creator of FaceLock, a biometric identity platform that colleges and universities use to stop enrollment and financial aid fraud. His work today centers on helping higher education shut down ghost students: fake enrollees created with stolen identities to collect Pell Grants and other aid. His message to colleges is simple: a driver's license no longer proves who someone is. After years of data breaches, fraudsters already have most people's driver's license information, so knowing those details proves nothing. FaceLock uses iBeta Level 2 liveness detection to confirm that a real, live person is present and matches their government-issued photo ID before an enrollment, aid disbursement, or other high-risk transaction goes through. Calvin has been invited to speak on identity fraud and digital identity in London, Wellington, Victoria, Hong Kong, and Washington, D.C. He serves on the ISO working group that develops the ISO/IEC 18013-5 and 18013-7 mobile driver's license standards. Calvin is a Southeastern Louisiana University Lion with a degree in Computer Science.
